Your contribution of 1 cent per metre of Everest’s height, amounting to $88.50, is a valued stepping stone on Christopher’s climb to the summit of Everest and we welcome you as part of the team. To make your climb with Christopher as personally fulfilling as possible we offer you the following:

You will be emailed a Special Summit Supporters certificate, formatted ready for printing.

Your name will be included on a scroll of names to be taken by Christopher to the summit of Everest.

You will receive email despatches containing additional news and photos that will not be on the expedition website.

Email news flashes when anything newsworthy happens.

You will be emailed a special Summit Supporters exclusive photo of the whole team on the mountain, formatted ready for printing.

Your name will be included in the Acknowledgements section of the Expedition book.

School age Summit Supporters, either privately or through their schools, will have the unique opportunity to see history in action as one of their peers attempts on their behalf to be the youngest person ever to climb Mount Everest.

For young people in particular, the program we have outlined here provides a great opportunity to learn many things across a range of topics by way of close and personal participation in this exciting expedition. It will also give an insight into the amount of effort that goes into a huge challenge as well as a good lesson in the value of hard work and determination.

A message to schools

It will be very significant, newsworthy and inspiring that one of your number, an Australian Schoolboy, is going where none have gone before, on behalf of you all. It will be hoped that many schools will find a close relationship with the Expedition exciting inspiring and of educational value, both in regard to syllabus related matters and in less easily defined but equally important ways.
